Moms & Tots A weekly playgroup for all moms of children of all ages. We meet Thursdays around 10:30am at different places around town such as parks, member’s homes, and Wild Adventures among others. The Garden and Craft Club A group of ladies who enjoy garden and/or crafting projects that are easy and fun. We do such things as touring gardens, making container gardens, making jewelry, mosaics, Halloween and Christmas crafts, plant exchange, and gourd projects. Book Club Meets once a month at a member's house to discuss either a fiction or non-fictional book that is suggested by someone in the group. The selections are those that make for an interesting discussion by women. If you like to read and share with other women, then this is a great way to do it. Contact Betty at 229-247-8712

New Connections Bible Study Welcome Newcomers! If you have been in Valdosta two months or two years, and you don't feel settled in your new community, then we have just the thing for you… New Connections! This is just one of the many opportunities that the Valdosta Newcomers Club offers for you to get to know others in your new community. If you have recently moved to Tifton, come join in our activities, meet new people, and have fun. Enjoy getting together for social, educational, and community events.

Our monthly meetings are held at 7:00 P.M. on the second Thursday of each month at the Betty Jo Roach United Way Community Center, which is located at 211 W. 4th Street.

The club's monthly events include Monthly Meetings, Book Club, Children’s Play Group, Bridge, Supper Club, Craft Club, Wednesday Coffee, Social Events, Ladies’ Lunch Out, & More. Socials occur frequently.
