When you move to a new town, wouldn't it be nice if you knew someone there who could give you advice and tell you the ins and outs of the community? That's what we're here for. The Greeting Service provides a personal home visit from one of our hometown greeters who can answer all the questions you may have about schools, doctors, utilities, driver's licenses - whatever it is that you need to know to get settled in to your new home. All of the businesses listed on this site are ones that we use ourselves and recommend to our friends and family. And of course, please don't hesitate to call us for anything you may need during this time of transition. Welcome to the neighborhood!

 

A little more about us:

For over 50 years the Greeting Service has welcomed newcomers with traditional southern hospitality – a personal home visit and a folder brimming with information about schools, churches, cultural opportunities, and a bag full of coupons and goodies.

The Greeting Service has expanded its borders to include Adel, Hahira, Lakeland, Lake Park, Moody Air Force Base, Nashville, Quitman, and Tifton and publishes an annual community resource guide acquainting newcomers with relocation information including job opportunities and housing.

We look forward to sharing all the fun and exciting things that South Georgia has to offer and hope you enjoy discovering your new home.
